A world-class line-up of cars is at the heart of the event with themes of Style, Design and Luxury, all with a British slant. Additionally there will be feature displays of 50 McLarens, 50 Jaguar E-Types and 50 Supercars as part of the rotating daily content.

The three days offer entertainment on the lawns, beautiful retail chalets with luxury brand and artisan goods, and a delicious selection of food and beverages to match. Lifestyle Auction

An exciting new luxury lifestyle auction at the London Concours held at the Honourable Artillery Company in the heart of the City of London. The auction will take place on the evening of Wednesday 5th June from 5.30pm, featuring collector cars, motorcycles automobilia and coveted lifestyle collectibles – including high-end watches, fine art, and stunning jewellery.

It’s no secret that we’re fans of both green cars and green interiors at Classic Driver, and when the two are combined you get our idea of a match made in heaven. Illustrating our point beautifully is this factory-built ‘Wide Body’ 1992 Aston Martin Virage Volante finished in Galloway Green with a green Connolly hide interior and, you guessed it, a green Mohair convertible hood.

Handbuilt by Aston Martin in 1992, this example was the launch car for the 2+2 Virage Volante displayed at the 1992 Geneva Motor Show. Originally finished in Giallo Fly over a tan interior, this manual Virage was sold to the legendary Brunei collection after Aston Martin had extensively reworked it to become the first of just 19 6.3-litre Wide Body Virage Volantes. In 2016 this example benefitted from a comprehensive bare-metal restoration, at which point it was given its current outstanding colour combination. Now showing just under 25,000 miles, this extremely rare Aston Martin at @nicholas_mee could be your perfect summer grand tourer.

Now this is quite something! Meet the TWR Supercat, a restomod Jaguar XJS that’s the brainchild of @the_kyza and @magnuswalker

Here’s the full story from our friends at @classicdriver:

@twrperformance first began modifying Jags in the early 1980s, when British Leyland tasked them with preparing the Jaguar XJS and Rover 3500 Vitesse for battle in the British and European Touring Car Championships. TWR Jags quickly gained a fearsome reputation on the racetrack, and in 1988, a TWR-built, V12-powered Jaguar XJR-9 bagged the outfit their first win at Le Mans. After another Le Mans@twrperformance Jaguar and TWR formed JaguarSport which would go on to build the legendary Jaguar XJR-15 and XJ220 supercars. Now, Tom Walkinshaw’s son, Fergus, is taking up the mantle with a mental XJS of his own.

TWR say that they will build just 88 Supercats in honour of the brand’s 1988 Le Mans win, each of which will be powered by a 600 horsepower supercharged V12 mated to a good old six-speed manual gearbox for maximum driving engagement and monstrous smokey burnouts. In order to ensure the Supercat drives as good as it looks, Fergus Walkinshaw has enlisted the help of some of the most talented minds of McLaren, Ferrari, Porsche, Williams, Mercedes F1 and Renault F1, with more than two years of development work already complete.

Order books open today, with each Supercat starting at 225,000 pounds before tax, which is pretty good value by restomod standards. While both Italy and Germany have had their automotive design icons honoured with plenty of restomods in recent years, it’s great to see the XJS — a true British legend — finally getting some love. So, do you think the TWR Supercat is a worthy successor to TWR’s racers of old, or is this just another carbon-clad fad?

CONFIRMED for London Concours 2024: Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series

This stunning 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series will join our V12s celebration this year. Certainly one of the wilder creations to wear the three-pointed star in recent years, this mad machine packed a 670bhp bi-turbo motor, with a gargantuan 738lb/ft of torque.
